This is an original Simms SU4D four cylinder magneto. I can be reached at if you'd like to talk about it. Overall it's a pretty decent looking magneto and certainly would be good for many great parts.

The mounting threads are in good shape. The points look to be in good shape but the distributor cap is missing one of the readout studs. This may be able to be repaired. The magneto turns over nicely with good magnetic pull.

It is a base mount magneto and mounts with 4 holes on a 2 inch square bolt pattern. It has a chain sprocket on it with adjustable timing. These had many applications in the early industrial world including early cars, trucks, tractors, and motorcycles.
