It is a nice engine for being near 80 years old. Great for a beginner or an experienced collector that wants to add a nice 92 engine to his her collection.
Feel free to ask questions. It turns over freely and has good compression, so I can't imagine it taking too much to get this engine running like a top. This is an excellent barn find model 92 Maytag engine with the short, shallow fuel tank. The engine looks complete although the exhaust pipe extension shown in the pics has long been removed and will not be shipped as part of this sale and is a prime piece of American history.
This engine would make a good present for any engine collector.
I don't see any cracks, breaks, or welds. I will try my best to get back to you with answers to them. I obtained this engine with intent of getting it running and using it for show, but life's card dealing is making it obvious that I am not going to be able to do that.
