I removed the spark plug but did not disassemble anything else on the engine and sprayed some liquid wrench into the cylinder. The drain petcock is missing parts. It has been many years since this engine has ran and is not in running condition. Engine has rust, dirt, dings, dents, scratches, cracks, grease and grime.
Item is being sold as is. The bottom of the tank is split open as shown in the pictures. Turns over and seems to have compression. The piston was not stuck I just wanted to lube up the cylinder walls before turning the flywheel much.
Early maytag single cylinder engine. But with all that said this is a very early serial numbered engine that does not appear to have been molested over the years. Don't know if it has spark. The hub on the drive pulley is cracking.
