It makes an excellent spark. It will not produce a spark that jump an air gap no matter who tells you it or how close hold the wire to ground. This mag has the desirable all brass body. It makes a spark that can be seen when the ignite points open.

Strong magnetic pull can be felt when turning the armature. So here it is. The mounting pattern is about 2 x 2, all studs tight in their holes.
