Everything works as it should and after the addition of the advance retard spring and a 1/8 inch pipe plug in the primer elbow this ignitor bracket is ready to be used on an engine. The points are in excellent condition and will last a lifetime. This is a rather tough to find original webster magneto ignitor bracket for a large field brundage wolverine or Seattle hit and miss gas engine.
It is in excellent used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except that it needs a retainer spring to hold the advance retard lever which are available quite inexpensively from several of the hobby suppliers. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. It mounts with two 1/2 inch holes 3 inches apart on center.
There is very little noticeable wear on the movable shaft. If you've been looking for one you won't be disappointed with this one in any way. It is bracket number 303J51 and according to the paper that I have fits a 15hp engine but will probably fit others as well. Please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application.
This is a large ignitor bracket and takes the Jay webster magneto. I can be reached at if you'd like to talk about it. The pictures tell the story. These are getting harder to find every day.
