Needs some soaking and maybe a little heat. I usually would separate the magneto and bracket, but the magneto and bracket are special to each other as you can see. Feel free to ask questions. This is a rare combo to find.
You see the brackets pop up for sale on occasion, but finding the correct mag with the special side cover is very, very rare. The movable electrode on the bracket is free, but the magneto armature is stuck. The trip arm roller is mounted on the magneto instead of the bracket.
It needs a little TLC, it's not ready to use. Good luck and happy buying. You are buying on a very hard to find webster m magneto, and original bracket for a stover engine.
I see no cracks, chips, or repairs on the mag or bracket, which is pretty rare for a pot metal mag.
