So here it is. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an ignite. Here is a Webster M magneto.

I am sure there are other excuses also but don't care and want to hear them. It will probably run an engine just fine but it may need the bearings redone at some point. AS IS what you see is get. It will not produce a spark that jump an air gap no matter who tells you it or how close hold the wire to ground.

It makes an excellent spark. The bearings have some wear and the armature drags a little bit. It will probably work fine as it is but may need new bearings at some point. This mag has the desirable all brass body.

It makes a spark that can be seen when the ignite points open. One of the oil holes is broken out a little bit, that very common thing doesn't hurt it. The bearings have some wear and the armature seems to drag a bit.
