It is in excellent slightly used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and only a few handling nicks here there mostly on the hex base. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. It has 1/2 inch not pipe threads and they are in great shape. I can be reached at if you'd like to talk about it.

It shows this oiler in the parts books for earlier Fairbanks Morse gifts and n engines. The glasses and gaskets are good.

You'll like it. It has 1/8 not threads in the base to easily add a check ball if you so choose. Everything seems to works as it should.

It has a vent tube in so was meant to oil the cylinder of gas engine. The pictures tell story. This oiler should be ready to go work on an engine or other piece of machinery with no extra attention as far I can tell. This is a pretty nice original brass oiler for hit and miss engine, steam or other piece of machinery.
