I can be reached at if you'd like to talk about it. This is a pretty nice original and rather hard to find Tillotson MS74J carburetor for an air cooled engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for the brass fuel line stud on top which is easy enough to replace. The pictures tell the story.
It's most common application was on the lauson tlc engines. You'll like it.
It may have had other applications in the early industrial world. It would be a great way to complete an authentic restoration. Please do your homework to be sure it is the correct carburetor for your engine or project.
It mounts with two holes inches apart on center. The throttle shaft has slight wear and the choke shaft has very little. It has a 7/8 inch intake and a 5/8 inch opening where it mounts.
