Good luck in your buying. Weight and heavy pull make bench testing difficult if not impossible. The gas tank is dry without any gunk, so the carburetor may be clean as well.

Stored since 1998, this untested engine may need a carburetor cleaning and or tune up to run. Approximate total shipping weight 55 lbs.

There's no indication that there is any issue, but its 50 lb. Both engine shroud and fuel tank show light to moderate surface rust, along with several small to medium sized dents. The air filter cover is missing, while the carburetor and linkages all appear to be intact.
