Pros:

1. Rare and unique: This engine is highly sought after due to its scarcity and distinctive design. Owning one could be a significant addition to a collection.

2. Historical value: The engine was produced by International Harvester Company (IHC), a well-known manufacturer of agricultural equipment. It represents a piece of farming history.

3. Novelty and fun: The engine's small size, unique design, and "hit and miss" operation make it an entertaining and educational item for workshops or demonstrations.

4. Potential for restoration: For those with the skills, there may be opportunities to restore a non-functional engine to its original condition.

Cons:

1. Limited practical use: Due to its size and design, the engine has limited practical applications in modern farming or industrial settings.

2. High cost: Given its rarity, the engine can be quite expensive, which may not be justifiable for those seeking a functional engine.

However, for those seeking a practical, functional engine, it may not be the best investment due to its high cost, limited practical use, and potential maintenance challenges. It's recommended to thoroughly research the engine's condition, history, and cost before making a purchase.
