With the gasoline parts and that its a solid runner, i'll start at 25 but make an offer if you can use it. The gasoline version seems to have stopped before Arrow built these, they know nothing of it and none specific parts are available. Climax engine was later bought by or turned into Arrow company.
The engine was last bought about 30 years ago by my friends dad, as a present to his do water well project with. They never got around to it, somehow it came up in conversation, and I ended with. I removed the head, cleaned out carbon, and lapped valves.
You can see it run before purchase of course, and the starting handle is included. The valves were in pretty good condition, so I don't think its had much run time since last rebuild. This engine is almost identical to the still-made Arrow C-46, main differences are has a condenser instead of Thomson radiator like on newer ones, and new ones use an oil filter.
They typically run for about 5 years, get a valve job in the field, more then full rebuild. Beyond the usual well gas natural mixer that is used on current engines, it has a gasoline bowl intake, and pump side of block.
I rebuilt the gas pump and machined a new mixture needle screw as well. En literature engines c-series 20-c-series-specifications file it has a twin disc clutch on the output, so you can easily start then turn whatever you're intending to drive. Being a barn find, it had some issues. To make the gasoline carb mixer work, I used a spare quadrant float and needle, some gentle machining in bowl for needle seat.
Specs: 9 hp, rpm easily adjustable with a thumb screw, throttled instead of hit and miss, uses magneto for ignition, weighs about 1400 lb.
