The points and everything inside are in great shape. These original Bosch du4 magnetos are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they usually require several hundred dollars worth of repair work.

It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark this will surely run your engine if it is set up properly. It mounts on a 2 inch square mounting pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. It is clockwise rotation and turns nice and smoothly with excellent magnetic pull and has no noticeable wear in the bearings. These had several applications in the early industrial world and are very high quality magneto.
