These threads can be repaired with correct tools. Going to highest bidder. The magnet in flywheel has been removed and gone. I have seen a lot worse.
Did not see any cracks etc. To control air flow throttle and sprayed a little fuel mix in carb. I scrounged up some bolts and payed attention to threads depth on each hole mount tank, blower housing engine bracket as these were off when got it. I originally was going to piece together a carburetor and do basic bench start.
I'm a 40 year mechanic and got this basket case. I was impressed with amount of compression it seemed to have. For bench firing just to see if it would run, I have mounted some kind of carb.
What I can see through exhaust port, piston and cylinder looked promising. I have tried to be thorough with but if missed something drop me a question. Fuel tank has surface rust on inside, but looks like a good candidate for cleaning and liner coating installed. Blower housing and engine mounting bracket look good.
Some parts and bolts are missing. I set flywheel on it key is there and hand spun crank. I'm not trying to misrepresent this but I do think with a couple of missing parts, there is good chance will fire up and run.
I sprayed some Pb blaster in plug hole and exhaust port before spinning it over. I have repaired many of this situation over the years. The brown you see in photo, on piston is not tarnished or burned. Be sure to look at all photos.
The Pb is what your seeing. I saw no bad threads except on outer end of crankshaft where someone battered threads, I'm sure from removing flywheel without a puller.
