As you can see in the pictures someone has rigged this engine up to run off a model buzz coil and battery. Say this engine has a older restoration done to it and definitely still gives off good look. Should definitely be a great project for someone with the skills and ability. I've shipped many of these engines with no problems.
Engine turns over and does have some compression, I think the compression is a little down on it however can almost bet its been sitting 20 years at least so imagine once limbered up bit would be just fine. This engine is being sold as a non runner I personally have not tried running it. I haven noticed any of these Briggs FHA with a buzz coil before and personally think someone had great idea definitely put some thought into it. The coil is included and if a guy were to run it this way it ll need some wiring soldering the terminals of.
I have for sale a Aircoooled Briggs Stratton model FH Straight Fin engine. Please remember this engine is a project, used, old, and has wear. The kick pedal functions/ratchets, however the recoil spring is a little weak and could probably use some sort of adjustment. Intake and exhaust valves are not stuck.
The cylinder has a few chipped fins as you can see in the pictures, they should affect performance of engine however.
