The intake tube looks to have been replaced at one point and time, I do not think its 100 % correct. Engine ram for about 10 seconds doing this. I want it to arrive you in the same condition leaves me. I did have this engine running by squirting a little bit of gas down the spark plug hole and into carburetor.
The kick pedal sprocket has 1/4 of it broken off/missing as you can see in the pictures. I would almost bet the fuel tank will need cleaned out before being able to run off gas. The gas tank has one ear that been broken off of the base, I do not have piece. When I started this engine had to guide the chain so it would stay on sprocket.
Neat old Briggs Stratton FH slant fin engine with brass carburetor. The engine took off relatively easily and sounded great for a almost 100 year old. The engine however is not perfect and does need some work to make it.
